How about the other piece of the puzzle? Do youz guys -- those in the game of playing with the guts of kindles! -- already have micro-USB to female USB port cables lying around by the dozens?

Is there a difference in the brands of micro-USB to female USB cable?

I guess it's still cheaper to buy that plus the sound card, but it is now getting closer to the cost of amazon's adapter.
