I assume that you are referring to books you have purchased from Amazon and which were automatically downloaded to the Fire tablet.

The short answer is that you need to use Kindle for PC.

The reason is that Amazon has made it difficult to access the automatically downloaded book files on Fire Tablets. Even if you find the files, any with DRM will be unusable because Fire DRM is unsupported by "the tools". Also, any books with "enhanced typesetting" will be in KFX format, which cannot be processed or converted by any existing software even if you could remove the DRM, which you can't.
