I just turn on the Closed Captioning...but it's not because my hearing is going. It's because, for a long time, I lived in a small house with a large amount of people. Rather than trying to get everyone to be quiet just because one person wanted to watch television, I just turn on the close captioning. I still turn it on when I'm on the treadmill, since my treadmill is located right next to my son's bedroom, and I like to use it very early in the morning while he's still sleeping.
