Chances are very good. I picked one up two weeks ago for $30. Sale price was $40 and I used a $10 Prime Now promo to bring it down to $30. See this post for details.

I have the original 2011 Fire. It still works, but the battery is getting weaker.

I wouldn't be totally opposed to making extra cutouts in the case, if it fits otherwise.

Too bad we don't have Prime Now here yet. I can wait for a sale while I decide if I really want one.
