There is a apply TAG (the field) option: These are user 'presets'

Preferences: Adding Books:Tag to Apply
Add from ISBN:

(there may be Plugins that also have a 'Tag' option as part of their usage. look at the PI you use options)

Dublin Core (DC) metadata is normally a part of the books OPF. Series info IS NOT standard DC metatata
