About conservative, it works normal. I added to KUAL extension, so now I have 4 button for CPU control. Most of the times, when I press something, the 'pressed button' icon (inverted colors) does not appear (for example, I use KOReader button that replaced Shop on the Search Bar), although the app is being launched as expected.

So adding some sort of user feedback would be a "good thing" ?
You can find out what governor your running (and the statistics of the high/low speed transitions) from the cpu report.
You may not have noticed, but the report changes with the governor running - since the various governors report different things.
It should be possible to read the report on the Kindle -
Just be sure you have the 'all items' or 'local items' or whatever your firmware version calls it that is required to view personal documents.
