I'm more worried about high temperatures than low ones. Here we rarely get below 0 °C (32 °F), and that's outdoors, winter and at night, a situation in which I'm not likely to be using an ebook reader. But in summer, at midday, it's usual to have ~40 ºC (104 °F), and I might like to be outside, under a tree, reading after lunch...
