You can not, and never have been able to, install our signed packages with a re-boot (that leads you to an installer that we don't support).

"application can not be started" is the literal error message and then the Kindle would hang up and not boot. It eventually cleared and we are back to square one. I *think* I understand where things went wrong. He is using 5.6.x
It went downhill with the greyed out update button and not having read the FAQ first. I won't make that mistake again.
