Sam Ash just sent an email to me featuring a "Fender 2016 Limited Edition American Standard Telecaster" that provides "an aesthetic that's reminiscent of those 'custom color' Fenders of yesteryear". I'm not a guitar player, yet even I know the stellar reputation of Fender Telecasters. But that color is positively nauseating. Let me guess the "choose color" option at checkout: "Gawdawful Pale Pastel". Or maybe "Regurgitated Teal". Or perhaps just "That Super Yucky Color in the Ad."

Just looking at that color makes me want to take something to settle my stomach. That's the absolute worst choice for color on a musical instrument since Fire Engine Red for keyboards.
