But you said you are not interested in opening your device to do the serial jailbreak:

So now, are you saying you DID open your device, and connect a TTL serial adapter, and attempt to do the serial jailbreak using the instructions in the first post of this thread? You are not making yourself clear to some of us, especially regarding what steps you have done, and how they may have failed. We need more information about what you did and how it failed, before we can advise you on how to make more progress in your jailbreak efforts. Some of your posts imply that you are not interested in jailbreaking, and others suggest that you are not interested in following instructions written in English or that use too many words (i.e. "TL;DR"). To us, it seems as though your posts contradict each other, and do not make specific requests nor include enough relevant details for us to guess what you should do next.
Specifically, what firmware version is installed on your kindle NOW? What steps did you try? What were the results? What worked? What did NOT work? In your "many" attempts to jailbreak, what was different, and what was the same, in your attempts, and in intermediate results? Please provide answers to these questions, and supply any additional information that might be relevant, so that we may help you accomplish your goals.
