I agree with milady133--I keep my readers in cases, but don't handle them with kid gloves. They go in my purse or bag which I tend to toss around to some degree. So far, haven't had any broken screens--have went through several e-readers over the last several years and have at least one of them with my always. From reading posts here I realize that the screens are fragile and one of mine could break, but I'm not planning on changing my behavior. If I do end up with a broken screen someday, I'll be disappointed but won't blame anyone as I know this a characteristic of e-ink screens. I'll either revert back to one of my older readers, or more likely use it as an excuse to purchase a shiny new reader.
