I removed kindle for android from my Lenovo tablet when I realised that there is no way to block their 1-touch tap-in-the-wrong-place-and-you've-bought-it feature.

Every kindle book opened displays a big banner wanting you to tap and pay for the linked audiobook & it's way too dangerous to have enabled, if you have clumsy fingers like me!

so I read only epub conversions on that tablet now.

On an actual Kindle or Fire device, you can password protect all purchases, but not on other android. Once you are the in K4A app you are in 1-click territory, the only safeguard would be aeroplane mode, & then the app would probably not launch ?
