How is the example an endless loop?
It's opening Calibre, and periodically importing books into Calibre. *And then finishing, until next time.*
It'd take a lot of time with 300 books, so it's not something to do each time Calibre opens, but it's an option at times.
On the Mac, it's easier to sort the Kindle library by date added and file type, and select the newer azw files while skipping the rest.
