I have had mine since Tuesday. Mine still looks like new. The few tiny marks it has gotten rubbed right off really easily. Maybe it just depends on the individual cover. I even had mine in my purse for a few hours and it didn't get a single mark. Here's a picture of mine that I took yesterday for my Amazon review.
