Mine kind of rub out with a small circular rubbing motion. It does scratch a bit, but I been able to just do the rubbing thing and they are gone. I kind of like the way it wears.
A bit of moisture on the thumb to rub with also helps. But I don't worry to much. Its probably a bit more fussy than the merlot or black cover, but I love the way it feels and looks in walnut.
