I suspect that's part of it. I've always had astigmatism and my glasses mostly do correct for it but I've been thinking it's time to get a new prescription. But I mis-phrased that a little -- I should have said the text HAD swum further away rather than that it was currently in the process of swimming away as I watched it.

But it's definitely at least partly the Voyage screen itself. I have, or have had, thirteen ereaders (I didn't realize it was that many until I listed and counted them just now ) and the Voyage is the only one with that particular problem.
