The Kobo desktop had the icon for the on the device books. The last ones weren't on the device anywhere and the other files were changed by the desktop.
The point is now moot. I've bought an android e-ink with NO Google, (I hope, I can root androids if I have to.)
I'll simply delete the Kobo account, and use Open Office's versions of Excel to catalog.
I'll keep Calibre for removing Amazon DRM. I don't really need all the functions of Calibre anyway. All I need is Title, author, and category.
