To be fair, if someone would be able to create a 7 inch 4:3 tablet that combined the advantages of LCD (fast refresh, color, perfectly even when illuminated) with the advantages of e-ink (low power, reflective when used in bright light, less glare), my reaction would be: "GIMME!"
And I wouldn't care if they classified that new screen as LCD/TFT or as e-ink.
The device is just a tool, and I use the one most suited for which I want to do; for reading outside/public transport, that's the e-reader; for reading websites and PDFs, that's the tablet.
