Might be a difference, factors such as construction and differences in light temperature might make it easier to pick up. There needs to be a difference on the Kobo as well, since itīs edge lighted and the strength of the field is inversely proportional to the square of the distance from the source.
Anyway, the Oasis looks perfect too me when reading and thatīs all that counts. Amazon would do worse if they increased the size of the unit to make marginal improvements :-)
