I got my 2nd Oasis today. 1st was with a black cover from Amazon, 2nd is a walnut cover from Best Buy.
Bunch of photos are attached.
Oasis #1 is on the left, Oasis #2 is on the right, or if there's a close up of a screen, the 1st photo is Oasis 1, 2nd photo is Oasis 2.
Observations:
- Both have shadow cones
- Texture of the black cover is like plastic. Texture of the walnut cover is like leather or suede, feels significantly more luxurious
- Walnut cover is darker than expected (I like this)
- Oasis 1 screen appears a little blue, Oasis 2 screen appears a little yellow
To my eyes Oasis 2 looks little bit better but not perfect. Have yet to see a photo of an Oasis that doesn't have the shadow cones. Probably sticking with Oasis 2 and the walnut cover.
