Insomnia.
It first cropped up about two years ago. I was able to get it under control pretty easily -- in my case, just making sure I got direct sunlight early in the day effectively "reset my sleep cycle." So, instead of having some tea and reading by the living room lamp I went out onto the back deck and read in the sun. In just 3 or 4 days I was getting to sleep pretty quickly after getting to bed.
But, May is going to be a very busy, stressful month, and we haven't had much sun for a week ...
I have a "therapy light" that's intended to help folks with SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) and it helps a bit, but it's not nearly as effective on a regular basis.
Maybe I'll get a nap this afternoon.
