I would never rely on any one thing to store any of my precious files--everything is stored in multiple places. I have everything backed up automatically with Carbonite every night, I also have a giant external hard drive that I use as a backup, and certain things (like my books) are also backed up to other cloud services as well. For example, in addition to being backed up with Carbonite and to external hard drive, all of my ebooks are stored on my Kindle cloud, no matter where they came from initially. I also have a copy of my Calibre library stored on One Drive (I get a terabyte of space on Onedrive since I pay $100/year for MS Office).
With all of the options available today, why would anyone keep their precious files in only one place??
