Remember Calibre is free. All of my books are stored in Calibre. From there, a backup copy is ceated on another hard drive.

I would never rely on my brain for my precious books if I can avoid it. Many of my books have written reports, which are backed up on hard drives, multiple hard copies in different discrete locatins, flash drives, cloud storage, and my brain.
