Dead Angler, the first in Victoria Houston's Loon Lake Mysteries, is either on sale or has had a price reduction. It's now $0.75 at Amazon (and $0.99 at Kobo) US stores. I haven't checked other countries. This story was originally published by Berkley. The current ebook is published by Tyrus Books (F+W Media), but the link at Tyrus redirects to Adams Media.

I don't know if this is a limited time sale or a permanent reduction, but I've never seen a price of 75 cents at Amazon.

Anyway, I really liked this book. It reads like a "cozy," but it's a bit too gritty to fit neatly in that genre. I've since read, and enjoyed, a few more in the series. It has about 4 stars at Goodreads.
