A freebie I deleted from the new library also showed up there, and undeleting from there put it back in the new library. Haven't risked it with a purchased book, but I assume it would be the same.

No unwanted previews have downloaded to my Kobo h2o. Although there is a book I actually own that is now only showing as a preview. I can see it in my purchase history and the old library (w/o a download button), but not in the new library at all.
