Generally I will try to fit a new book into an existing Tag, but if it doesn't I create a new one, following the same format, ie. Fiction- [New Genre].
It was a terrrible amount of effort a long time ago initially, but now it's second nature as I add new books in.
I always changed the title, until I started using Calibre. I'll change the title on my device, if the device doesn't support series, but I'll do that using plugboards.
