And you are planning to purchase from what Vendor?
Kindles can be purchased from other than Amazon.
And even Amazon has multiple geographic locations (with different stock on-hand).
From Amazon in the US - no more 5.6.5
From somewhere else, 5.6.5 on a KV as recently as three days ago.
