And that works great for anthologies where there are multiple authors.

But you'll notice the OP mentioned "a few books from a serie" (sp) which suggests to me he's talking about an omnibus even though he used the word "anthology." It could be the case that most of the books he's talking about only have one author.

I like the idea of using a custom column for contributing authors, and I might adopt that method myself, but that doesn't answer the original question, which is about being able to search for the individual titles.
