I suggested Pelican Cases because extensive variety, rugged protection and reliable google search results. They are very good but not cheap. Have used Pelican Cases sense they were first sold in 1970s and many other brands as USN combat photographer. Water proof?, Only if no grains of sand is on rubber seal. My local Walmart sells Attwood cases that can hold a smart phone or 7" tablet that resembles a Pelican case. Web search is more likely to show many other Attwood boating accessories. One of Attwood's water proof cases resembles cheap version of a US military ammo box. Once found steel ammo box full of lead weights under a pier in 30ft of water still dry inside.
