The worker process is being interfered with by
something. Maybe an antivirus, maybe something else if you say you already tried disabling your antivirus.
(If I have too many things running and am low on RAM, the oom-killer kicks in, but otherwise linux is blessedly free of this insanity.)
The warning about Google Drive was just free advice.
It will bite you eventually.
