CORRECTION: I doubt that this matters to anyone, but David & Charles Publishers, which Amazon shows as publisher, is now F&W Media International Limited. WarGameVault correctly, it seems, shows the publisher as F + W.

The WarGameVault Deal of the Day is an ebook. Or, to be more accurate, two ebooks, because you get both the PDF and ePub of this 354-page book with your purchase.

The book is Tales from the Front Line - D-Day, by Jonathan Bastable. From the WarGameVault's Deal of the Day webpage:
Tales From the Front Line - D Day is a chronicle of the build-up and aftermath of the most decisive battle of World War II, told through the tales of the extraordinary participants who recorded their experiences in letters or diaries, or recounted them after the event.

Tales From the Front Line - D-Day commemorates the bravery and skill of generals, frontline soldiers, statesmen and civilians.

Jonathan Bastable has skillfully woven disparate tales into a compelling narrative of one of the key events in the twentieth century. You will find that this is the most personal account to date of the day s events.

Unfortunately, there are no ratings on this David & Charles imprint book at Amazon yet. There is just one, a 4.00, at GoodReads.

The current price at Amazon for the Kindle mobi is $14.99. The price at WarGameVault is only $4.50 at the present time.

I've just now learned about this special. There are currently just short of 15 hours left on the daily deal.

Go here to purchase.
