Kobo uses the same software on all their recent devices. The only differences in the firmware upgrade packages between what is on the Glo and the Glo HD is a only a few files for drivers. Overall, both devices are stable, though I don't use my Glo as much now.

For your problem with the Glo, did you use the pinhole reset button? Or try holding the power switch in the off position for 20 seconds and then turning on?
