do M96 and M97 derivatives have stronger screens?
I have used the Boox M92 with very much pleasure for the past 3 years, but the screen broke within the first year and I had it replaced at a hefty cost of about 200 euros + shipping. Now just yesterday the screen gave up on me again, going blank and remaining blank. I am considering to just buy a more recent edition of the Boox, like N96, but am worried the screen might still be every bit as vulnerable as it was with the M92. It's all the more alarming that the warranty specifically excludes 'broken screens' except when upon arrival.
Can anyone confirm this or reassure me that the M96 or N96 is better protected? Much though I love the Boox, it cannot be called a good product until the screen protection is as good as that of an iPad. I need to feel safe to stick it into my bag when I go out.
