The online password generator only supports kindles before the PW3.

You can use kindletool to tell you the root password (just like at that online link you provided), but kindletool also supports PW3 and newer kindles (which use different digits of the serial md5sum). If you use windows, I suggest downloading the MinGW (command line) version here:
