Yes - IF your device is running firmware version 5.6.5 - DO NOT let it connect to a network - it will auto-update before you can do anything about it.

Got it. btw, I plan to ask Amazon to remove the ads since I'm not based in the US anyway and I heard they do it for free for customers like me. Can I do that after I jailbreak the device or is there another jailbreak-related method that can do that? Also, just to be clear on the third one, I can leave the jailbroken PW on wifi and let it update (if it does automatically) with no issues or should I stay on 5.6.5 after jailbreak?
