As long as there is a company willing to pay for a DRM scheme, there will be companies claiming to have a hack proof scheme available or 'in the works'. Look at the DVD industry, I don't know if they're still trying but at one point it seemed every few months there would be some new scheme and within a short time it would have been figured out and the cycle would begin anew. I'd wager they lost more in trying to prevent piracy than they actually did from piracy. Noting that some amount of the pirated movies wouldn't have been purchased no matter what.
