Haha, true, I was told it might be a "German" thing not appreciated or considered cool in many other countries, but it is practical.

Yes, you have to search a bit until you find one that can accept a Kindle with cover, but I find that to be quite practical to keep my walled, phone and other stuff (including an extandable baton), especially when I am out on my bike.

So my kindle is always with me!
It isn't cool any more, but I still wear a leather Renn Faire type waist bag all the time, at my belt, to carry my phone and sundries. Girls' clothes so rarely have pockets! But while it is quite sizable, it's too small to carry a Kindle. So I carry one of the 16" size purses, only since I first got a kindle. My purse was smaller, before 2008. Fortunately, extra huge purses became fashionable about then.
