Hopefully since starting the thread in January, loviedovie's become more loviedovie towards eBook borrowing.
Of course, since you lack the Kindle-format borrowing option in Canada, the objections loviedovie had regarding Amazon don't apply.

Since you wrote this in January, our local public library has added OneClickDigital eBooks while remaining in the county Overdrive consortium. I don't have statistics, but it does seem to me that Overdrive's admittedly high market share is declining.
