I love mine. I did have one at the very start that had a blotchy screen, sent that back, waited a while and then reordered and the second one was perfect. The only gripe I have, and it has detracted from the device for me, is the lack of a cover that I can use happily. I thought they completely nailed it with the PW cover. Perfect form and function.

I tried the origami, after trying some other book-like options (oberon and cheap and cheerful third party) and it was, for my needs, no good. I have been looking for a good quality, snap in (not velcro or straps) leather book type cover. Not plu, decorative covers that I, personally, really think are fugly. I have a real prob with the big black border of plastic around the back of most of them - and the ones I have bought have fallen apart in a couple of weeks.

But, having waited for the oasis description and deciding that it is really not for me, I had one more trawl through Etsy and I think/hope that I have finally found a cover that will do what I need it to do: stay shut in my bag (the Origami kept being opened up by other objects in my bag), lightweight (sorry Oberon) made for the Voyage and not a one size-fits-all huge thing (that's you caseable and clevercase), screens the lights from my husband as he drops off to sleep and I settle in for a late night reading session (hence the book-type form), real leather. Amazingly hard to find - apparently because of the form of the back, according to one manufacturer.

If so I'll be delighted if this last option is the real deal. It has been a real search and the whole thing has detracted from my pleasure in the device, which I use for hours daily.

The Voyage is perfect for me - I love the haptic buttons, the fact that they are on both sides so no need to flip over as with the Oasis, the adaptive light, and the elegant design (I love page press buttons and the fact that they are toally silent - I can't imagein there will be no click at all after loads of use with real press buttons).

Battery - 6 weeks (Amazon cloud cuckoo weeks of half an hour a day, mid light, no wifi - wish they'd just give hours) is fine and for double that, I just carry a lipstick type external battery in my case for when I'm on the road. Very compact, powerful external batteries have been around for ages, Oasis marketing seems to be suggesting Amazon has just invented the idea).

I'm holding out for solar powered cases, now that could get me sitting up and paying attention.

I hope that everyone who loves their origami case, their plu third party cases and their oasis enjoy them to the full - it's all about choice and having options available that suit your needs
