I chose no. I only use a quilted cover to protect the screen from scratches from stuff in my purse. Otherwise, I read from naked ereaders. When I bought a used Kindle Keyboard, it came with a nice leather cover with a light. I tried it for a few months, but just couldn't stand the weight.

I did buy my Mom one of those magnetic covers when I bought her a paperwhite. This was because it would save her battery, going into sleep mode when you close the cover.
