Yes, you should remove my plugin. And, assuming you get the definition correct in the new options, it will work fine.
What I did was:
- Copy the settings from the plugin
- Create the new rules
- Checked that the details pane showed the new link and it worked. The old link was still there as the identifier was handled twice.
- Uninstalled my plugin.
- Restarted and checked.
