I'm betting someone messed up in typing up the specs since the screen should ideally be Carta eink or something to that effect, OS should be Android at a minimum, preferably a version number, and I really doubt that there's only 1gb of storage available for books.

e-ink Kindles don't run Android, or anything like it: they run a Linux distribution of Amazon's own devising. (It's changed quite a lot over the years: e.g. display output has gone from using the now-expired libdirectfb to using X with a custom video driver and the Awesome window manager with a mass of custom Lua scripting to raise and lower windows at the right times.)
