The software is still the same (although there may be a new font as seen on a video review, but that looked lighter than Bookerly) so it's only the form factor and weight that's different.

The weight isn't an improvement if you always read with a cover (I do) and the fact that to get the battery life you must have the cover, and that is why it's so expensive it what bugs me. They are claiming long battery life which you only get with the cover, and yet claiming it's light, which you only get reading without a cover, something I would never do.

All their advertising is a contradiction. At the end of the day they have split the battery which is why it must be sold with a cover and that is why it's so expensive.
