for sideloaded books converting them to kepubs pretty much just gives tracking information, like time to finish chapter/book, sort of thing.
if the books on your SD card are DRM free then yes, if they are ones with DRM you'll either need to strip them or ensure that the Kobo is registered to whatever DRM scheme. Most likely Adobe.
If they are books you purchased through BN and have them on your SD card you'll need to strip the DRM since Nook switched their DRM scheme some time back.
edit- I now see your books are already DRM free, so yea just throw the sd card in your Kobo, it'll process them and you're all set. Leaving this message as is for future folks who find it by either googling or searching the forum.
