I would be very fumbly with the Voyage too, if I used it naked. Therefore I always read with the cover on.

I just have a sleeve that protects the unit when not in use. I hate covers due to their added weight. I use a cover on the KK, but only because the risk of dropping it on concrete is too high. The Voyage doesn't leave the house. The HD+ is the only other one with a cover, but I take it out of the cover when doing extensive reading (again, weight issue).

With regard to Tarana's question about the collections: . I don't remember how I figured out how to do it so you might want to call the Kindle help line. What I can tell you is that on the home page, there are 2 headers on the right side with little downward arrows. I have the first one set to "List view" and "All items" — there are check marks next to those. The second one (to the right of the first) is set to "collection". My collections work.

I love buttons.

Touch screens and I just have issues although I'm getting used to them. Thanks for the tips. Part of my problem is the 'sync across all kindles'. I have 7 or 8 kindles linked to my account (not all are mine) plus an account linked to mine by a family member (another Fire). When I select COLLECTIONS to place a book in say Mystery & Crime, there are 6 pages of Collection titles, 5 of them Mystery & Crime. So, it isn't just 'select a collection', but scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll and figure out which collection is actually ON THIS UNIT. I can't figure out how to fix this other than turning off syncing, which also turns off syncing whispersync books, which I use regularly. However, good idea to call the help line. Maybe they have a suggestion.
