I have to give Amazon an AAA+ for the marketing on this thing. I think I'd like the ergonomics of it but MHO a lot of the supposed "benefits" are misleading or else a trade off. It's deceptive to claim that it has "months" of battery life when that is dependent on using it with the case (assuming you are a heavy battery burn user -- if you're not then attaching the case at night might work OK) which increases the weight and removes the ergonomic benefits. And interesting to see that 8 weeks has suddenly become 2 months of battery life

. Same thing with claiming it's so much lighter. For those of us who don't use a cover, we either get a whole lot less battery life or a heavier device than the older ones reading with the cover on. And of course most media is leaving out the "average" part of the "average 30%" thinner. And the 10 LED's to give better lighting is really because they are now down the side not across the bottom so they have to use 10 (and it will be interesting to see how that works out or if this will be like the 1st Nook with the lights in the top that you got to stare at while reading). Good for them coming up with all this I guess, but I'm cynical enough that this kind of B.S. in the marketing bugs me (maybe the marketing salaries are why it's so expensive

).
