In hindsight its not that big of a deal i guess as its still going to last days even for the most avid reader and it will be able to crown itself as the lightest ereader ever,it's just a shame it had to sacrifice so much to get the weight down,one of the things i love most about my PW3 is i dont have to worry for a few weeks before it needs charging,the improved ergonomics of the oasis are just not worth it to me.

But if you set it into the cover when you go to sleep, you get the benefits of light weight ergonomics while you read, and extra battery length over all. Or do you not sleep, as I normally have to, occasionally?
I mean, I don't think the weight difference will matter to one's luggage. It's while you read, that it is meant to make a difference. If you have the cover available, you have the extra battery life available.
