hannahi have you established a Sth African Kobo account? If so, then your credit card details just get entered in the usual place and you proceed the usual way you would to pre-order. That is, on the screen containing the book you want you just click on the pre-order button (or whatever it's called). No money comes off until the day of the book's release.
Note, in Sth Africa you will be charged their VAT.
