In context, the setting referred to in the manual allows you change which button turns the page forward and which turns it backward. Once you make that decision, it will apply
even when you flip the Oasis. In other words the top button will continue to page forward (or backward) and the bottom button will do the opposite, no matter how you hold it.
At least that's how I understand it.
