They do. From the manual ...

Page Turn buttons
To page forward in a book, press the top button. To go back in a book, press the bottom button. To configure the buttons to match how you hold your Kindle, tap the Quick Actions icon on the toolbar and then select All Settings. On the Settings page, select Reading Options and then Page Turn Buttons. Note that your settings will apply even if you rotate your Kindle.
